While the formal foundation and initiation in the Catholic Church is found through Baptism, that is neither the whole or the end of our formation.  We are called to continue to deepen our understanding of our Faith and strive to live it out in the pursuit of sanctity.

FOR CHILDREN: Ascension offers two religious education alternatives.

• Catechesis of the Good Shepherd - a Montessori faith formation program for ages 3-12. Sacramental preparation for First Penance / First Communion is offered.
• Traditional CCD - A traditional program using textbook curriculum. Sacramental preparation for First Penance / First Communion & Confirmation is offered.
  

FOR YOUTH: 

• Middle School Youth Group - meetings monthly with retreats 3x a year

• Ascension Catholic Teens - youth ministry program for high schoolers

FOR ADULTS:

• Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults - In addition, for those not baptized as a young child, or those that were never fully initiated into the Church, we have the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and Children (RCIA/RCIC) where believers can pursue reception of the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.

• Adult Education/Formation - several times a year, Ascension offers retreats, days of reflections, and classes for adults.
